Reunion of the 2nd of May, 2018
Dear Old Victorian,
The May Reunion was held on Wednesday the 2nd at Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel in the Babylon room and was attended by 30 persons.
The speaker of the month was Dr Ibrahim Karim (VCC 1958) who spoke about “Planning Utopia. Restoration of Environment, Health and Ethics” one of the projects he executed in Switzerland at the turn of the century. The talk started at 7p.m lasted for 40 minutes and was followed by a twenty minute question and answer session.
A delicious dinner was served at 8p.m earlier than usual as arrangements were taken for those who wanted to watch the second leg of the UEFA Champions League between Liverpool (Mo Salah’s team) vs Roma in two of the Hotel’s outlets making this Reunion the shortest to date.
