Reunion of the 12th of March, 2014

Dear Old Victorian,

The March Reunion was held on Wednesday the 12th at the Automobile Club in Cairo. It started at 7:30 p.m. and was attended by 42 persons including members, spouses and friends.

The speaker of the month was Dr. Mahmoud Abu-Zeid a former Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation and an International world authority on water management. Dr. Abu-Zeid gave a valuable talk about the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam highlighting its effects on Egypt’s future Nile water supply.

The talk, questions and answers session lasted for an hour from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A recording of the talk is available at the office for those who did not attend the Reunion and are interested in the subject.

Dinner was served at 9:00 p.m. after the talk and the Reunion lasted till 10:30 p.m. with all looking forward to the next Reunion which is scheduled for Wednesday the 2nd of April.
