Reunion of the 18th December, 2014

Dear Old Victorian,

Last Thursday the 18th of December witnessed a great private event organized by the Association for its members. The event took place in the roof of the Automobile club which was covered by a tent and decorated to match the Christmas Holiday spirit. The roof which usually caters for over 200 persons was furnished in a way to only cater for the very elegantly dressed seventy persons that attended the event.

The entertainment was performed by the famous Wave Jazz Band taking us back to the good old days we remember. Our Old Victorian colleague Ihab Shalaby could not resist and left his table several times to grab the microphone from the band singer and serenaded us with some unforgettable old songs earning him  huge applause from the audience.

The gathering started at 8:30 p.m., with the entertainment starting at 9:00 p.m. Delicious mezzas started flowing at 9:30 p.m. with the main course being served at 10:30 p.m.  The event ended at midnight.

Those who attended had a great time and were so happy that they asked the Association to arrange for another similar event in the future. Those who did not attend missed out on an unforgettable elegant Old Victorian evening.
