Reunion of the 7th of March, 2018
Dear Old Victorian,
The March Reunion was held on Wednesday the 7th at Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel in the Babilon room and was attended by 28 persons.
The Speaker of the month was Mr Mohamed EL Etriby Chairman of Bank Misr who reviewed in details the grave financial situation the country was in before the devaluation of November 2016 and compared it with the present time emphasizing that the devaluation which was postponed for a number of years was essential otherwise the country would slide into bankruptcy . He concluded that the country is now on the right track to recovery with results being felt gradually by next year with considerable recovery by 2030.
Dinner was served at 9.00 p.m with the Reunion ending at 10.30 p.m with all looking forward to the next Reunion which is scheduled for Wednesday the 2nd of May at Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel skipping the April Reunion due to the Easter and Sham El Nesseem holidays so please keep that date free.
