Reunion of the 3rd of April, 2019
Dear Old Victorian,
The April Reunion was held on the 3rd of April in the Babylon Ballroom of the Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel Cairo and was attended by a healthy crowd of 35 persons.
The speaker of the month was the Honorable Member Of Paraliment Ahmed El Segini (VCA 1987) who shared with us his career in politics that started about a decade ago. He is now the General Secretary of the Parliament Majority and Head of one of the most important parliamentary committees namely “The Local Administration Committee”. The talk covered a number of topics that his committee is involved in emphasizing the colossal work that needs to be done by the Government for the country to prosper stressing that a lot of parliament members are working very hard to achieve that goal which unfortunately will take some time.
The Association is proud to have one of its members with Ahmed El Segini’s (VCA 1987) caliber reminding us of the late Ministers Mohamed Radwan (VCC 1959) and Mansour Hassan (VCC 1954).
Next Reunion is scheduled for Wednesday the 1st of May just before Ramadan.
